Responsibilities:
The successful candidate…
- would be required to play and teach the Harmonium proficiently.
- should have sound knowledge of gurmat raagas and be able to prepare and teach shabads according to the students’ level.
- should be able to communicate effectively with students and prepare them for upcoming Gurpurabs, Gurudwara performances and school assemblies.
- must also be able to work collaboratively and effectively with the Tabla teacher.
Khalsa School Calgary is a Sikh faith-based accredited funded private school with students from Kindergarten to Grade Nine. We follow the Alberta curriculum and our students also learn Punjabi, Tabla, and Harmonium.

• Experience or willingness to work in a faith-based educational setting
• Demonstrated ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to fostering a respectful and inclusive learning environment
• Positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to contribute to a collaborative team
